Paul Vaughn handles Non Capitol Renewals for Big Sky Underwriters (BSU). Paul has over a decade of experience in the insurance industry and joined the BSU team in 2007. Prior to assuming a role with Big Sky Underwriters, he worked as an agent for a local independent insurance agency. An outdoor enthusiast, Paul enjoys all that Western Montana has to offer including kayaking, snowboarding, mountain biking, camping, and spending time with his family.

Linda was born and raised in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. She started her insurance career in 1988 and was a Licensed Secretary/Agent in Virginia. Linda moved to Montana in 1993 to experience the western way of life. She started her Montana career working at a Bank and Title Insurance Company before joining Big Sky Underwriters in August of 2004. Linda enjoys spending time with her husband, camping and traveling all over Montana.

Kasie McFall joined Big Sky Underwriters in early 2009. She was born in Dillon, Montana and moved to Missoula with family. Kasie brings nine years customer service to Big Sky. She enjoys anything outside, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Lindsay Leary

Lindsay was born and raised in Butte, Montana and moved to Missoula to attend the University of Montana. She began her career in insurance soon after graduation working in a retail insurance office here in Missoula. Lindsay joined the Big Sky Underwriters Commercial Lines Department in April of 2008. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, concerts, music, running, traveling, movies and television.

Lisa Boyle
Wyoming Renewal Underwriter Ext. 53
Lisa, a native Montanan, worked on the independent agency level for many years, in different capacities, prior to joining the Service Office of Montana in September 1993. She has completed the Program in General Insurance (INS) and the Accredited Adviser in Insurance (AAI) programs through the Insurance Institute of America. She has also completed some studies toward her CPCU designation. Lisa is currently working with Chuck Cassidy in our Commercial Lines Department servicing our Wyoming agents along with a number of Montana and Idaho agents. Lisa has two sons, Sean is attending the University of Montana and Aaron, a senior in high school, will attend Northwest College in Powell this fall. Lisa loves to ski, hike, camp and raft and enjoys interior design.

Cheri was born and raised in Wisconsin where she worked in engineering and residential construction. After spending five years in northeastern British Columbia, Canada operating a hunting guide/outfitter business with her husband Paul and three sons, she moved to Kalispell, Montana in summer 2008 and began working for Big Sky Underwriters. Cheri’s interests include spending time with her family, reading, hunting, hiking, and horseback riding.

Chuck is a native of Montana. He started his insurance career in 1985 working for Bjornson/Sentinel agency while attending college at Moorhead State University in Moorhead, Minnesota. He holds a B.S. Degree in Business from Eastern Montana College, and earned his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1996. Chuck started his career with Hull & Company in 1996, and is currently a Commercial Lines Underwriter working with Wyoming agents along with a number of Montana and Idaho agents. In his spare time, Chuck enjoys spending time with his family, Dawn and their two sons, Colin and Keaton. He coaches both kids’ baseball teams during the summer and enjoys other outdoor activities including golf, hunting, and fishing.

Jessa joined Big Sky Underwriters in August of 2009. She moved here from Seattle, WA, shortly after graduating from Pacific Lutheran University with a BA in Economics and Business Administration. While in school, she interned at an insurance brokerage during the summers. She enjoys hiking and camping with her husband and three dogs as well as learning to knit and cook.

Wendy is a Montana native, born and raised in Kalispell, attending Carroll College in Helena, and graduating from the University of Montana, Missoula, with a BS in Business Administration. After graduation, she moved out of state to pursue a retail career as a corporate buyer for a major clothing company. Her insurance career began in 1997 with a large independent insurance company as a personal lines agent. Being gone from Montana for so long, Wendy thoroughly enjoys being back in Western Montana. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and showing her all that Montana has to offer. She enjoys water skiing, kayaking, camping, traveling, spending time with her family and of course Grizzly football games!! Go Griz!

Beth Robinson

A native Montanan, Beth was born and raised in Kalispell. She began her insurance career in 1977 and has worked at the company level in both Salt Lake City and Nashville. She holds a B.A. Degree in History/Political Science from Eastern Washington University. In 1984, Beth returned to Kalispell and became an underwriter for Service Office of Montana which later became Hull & Company. She joined Big Sky when the Kalispell and Missoula office consolidated in September 2009.

Phil started in the insurance industry in 2004 working for Safeco Ins. Based in Seattle he was an Auto Field Claims Adjuster. After a couple years of the big city life, Phil moved back to MT and worked for two years as a commercial lines agent in Stevensville, MT. In 2008 he came on board with Big Sky Underwriters as a commercial underwriter for CBIC. In the spring and summer you can find him spending time on the lake waterskiing and wakeboarding. During the winter months he’ll be out climbing hills on his snowmobile.

Beverly Bateman

Beverly was born and raised in Great Falls, Montana and began working in the insurance industry for Travelers Insurance in 1969 as a policy typist. In 1979, she went to work for Rocky Mountain General Agency as an assistant underwriter. Beverly has worked in standard lines, excess and surplus lines as well as personal lines and has served two terms on the Montana Surplus Lines Agents Association. Beverly received her CIC designation in 2000 and moved to Kalispell in 2004. She spent nine years as a foster parent and adopted two daughters. In her spare time, Beverly enjoys working in her flower beds, taking long rides, camping, traveling, knitting and doing crafts.

Caroline DeRosia

Caroline grew up in St. Ignatius, Montana and is the second youngest of two brothers and seven sisters. She moved to Kalispell in 1984 and received a two year degree in Secretarial Science from Flathead Valley Community College. Caroline began working at Service Office in 1985 which was later purchased by Hull & Company. She is a proud mother of three girls (ages 21, 19 & 12) and became a grandma in November of 2008. She enjoys watching Nascar, bull riding, real life stories on TV, working outside, acrylic painting, and collecting stamps and Jeff Gordon memorabilia.

Born and raised in Montana, Korry joined BSU in January 2004 as the Personal Lines Underwriter. She moved to Missoula from Eastern Montana where she had worked as an independent insurance agent. She started her career as a CSR in 1981 and earned a Property and Casualty Insurance License in 1988. Korry has worn many insurance hats, including working with crop insurance, small commercial, personal lines and accounting. While wearing these hats, Korry has had the experience of working at many geographic locations in Montana. She enjoys the opportunity to work with others and shares her knowledge in the field. Korry is knowledgeable not only in specialty coverage, but also in technological intricacies of automation. While building her insurance career, Korry also has managed to help raise four beautiful young women and enjoy her personal hobbies.

Jeanette Spranger

Jeanette started her career in insurance in Phoenix in 1962 after high-school graduation. She worked in the claims department in several national insurance companies until she, her husband and two sons moved to Montana in 1977. In 1982, she joined the staff of a local Kalispell agency and continued doing the claims work. That agency merged with another and then another. In September of 1998, she came to work at Service Office of Montana and has been in the same office through several more merges. Jeanette is a Personal Lines Assistant Underwriter in the Kalispell office. When not working, she enjoys time with her family, reading, doing crafts and spending time outside in her garden.

Jessi was born and raised in the Flathead Valley and promises to never leave. She began her career with Hull & Company in May 2005 while she attended Flathead Valley Community college. She graduated in 2007 with an AAS in Small Business Management. She then became full time with us and has since been involved in numerous departments of the company, learning all she can. She loves spending all her spare time with her husband and her loyal lab in the great outdoors. She enjoys hunting, fishing, camping, snowcatting and especially four-wheeling.

Kay Mosher

Kay has been with Hull & Co/Big Sky Underwriters for nearly 10 years. Her 30 years insurance experience has been primarily in Personal Lines as a CSR and Producer with independent agencies. Kay achieved the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1985, and also holds the Certified Professional Insurance Woman (CPIW) designation from the National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW). She enjoys travelling, singing, reading, cooking, shopping, singing and various crafts. One of her favorite things is spending time with family, especially her husband Bill. They both enjoy hiking and backpacking, among other activities. Bill has lots of experience hunting and fishing and is teaching Kay while Kay’s love of gardening is rubbing off on him. They have five daughters, 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In her free time, Mary enjoys walking, fishing, reading, watching football with family and friends and spending time with her husband.

Susan has 24 years of bookkeeping and managerial experience. She holds a B.A. in Forestry from Humboldt State University. After graduating she changed her focus to bookkeeping.
